The Short Family Story
In an era where the family farm is disappearing along with the skills needed to provide our own food and solve our own problems, the Short Family has joined the battle to help slow this trend.
For generations the local farmer was not only a producer of food, but also a problem solver. They were innovators and manufacturers of quality products needed to solve problems on the farm and in their community.
Now we have large corporations in charge of the innovations and manufacturing — focused on mass production and planned obsolescence. After starting our traditional poultry farm, we saw where some commercial products do not meet the needs or the required quality we desired.
That realization led us to start our own 3D Print Farm — We utilize modern additive manufacturing processes to create products that solve our issues, the issues of fellow food producers, and the issues in our community all while creating products that are built to last.
